A day at the Dallas Arboretum

Mark had an urge to go to the Dallas Arboretum. Annalise was a late addition to our small group but she quickly became the center of attention.

I don't know who had more fun: Annalise wandering, looking, jabbering and generally being too cute for words, or us watching her be too cute for words. We enjoyed the park, but she made it that much better!

One thing is for sure, she has her Uncle Mark, Uncle Devon and Aunt ReeRee wrapped around her little finger!

Strike a pose!! Looking at these photos, you would think that she's a little ham. However, that's not really the case. The truth is all you have to do is say "Moo!" in a funny voice and she'll giggle. Great trick to use when you're taking pictures! Isn't she adorable in her new bikini?

Didn't get pictures (yet), but Annalise took her first steps today! 2 and 3 at a time, between Steph and Loree and me. Awesome!

Crawling might be OK after all!

Annalise seems like she's getting over her "mad" at having to crawl. Previously she would whine and complain when she had to crawl to get somewhere. She wants to walk so bad!! Now she has figured out that she can get around fairly decently by crawling. (At least get to a piece of furniture to pull herself to standing position.)

Today she decided to go exploring in my house. First she began to head down the hallway to the bedrooms, then she changed her mind because she could hear Uncle Mark in the office on a conference call. She turned around and crawled to the entryway and peeked in on him. Here she is checking him out through the doors:
